The attached is a spreadsheet I put together to see what sort of interchangeability there might be between wheels on various 911's over the years.
Knowing what an aftermarket wheel manufacturer has (or is capable of) and what you're trying to achieve, plugging in the appropriate numbers (don't mess with the formulas) should give you what your new wheel specifications need to be and/or what shim would need to be used to make it happen. Where the shim thickness would be negative (not a possibility) the spreadsheet will show "N/A".
To be honest, I'm sort of surprised none of these aftermarket guys have set up a user friendly function on their website to do this.
.
FWIW the file is in Excel 97-2003 so whatever you've got, this should fly on your machine. There are no Macros in this spreadsheet and I sit behind a pretty secure system.

I’ve been messing around with this lately. Two good resources to figure out offsets and tire sizes. And whether a new wheel will fit your car.
1. Confirm your current offset etc.
https://www.wheel-size.com/
2. Then plug in your current wheel numbers, and your potential new wheel numbers into this calculator. It will show if the wheel will fit, and the difference in offset etc.

Hope this helps people navigate the new rim adventure.
