If anyone can point me in the right direction or post pics of the headlight options it would be greatly appreciated.
Since it's all but impossible to see the different headlight options at the dealerships I would appreciate a little guidance.
Firstly, I do very little night time driving, so the technical differences on the higher end options are of little import to me.
What does matter is what they look like.
I'm not a fan of too many bright bits on the interior of an otherwise dark headlight.
The configurator isn't of much help, as there isn't enough detail in the renderings.
I've been scanning through the many posts here but the problem is the lights aren't usually identified.
E.G. this pic has bright bits that I know would bother me.
I assume these are the standard "LED main headlights incl. four-point LED daytime running lights"

Thanks!
They all are LED. They all move to some degree. The matrix option is not necessary if you ask me. Plus in the US, you dont get full active matrix anyhow (lots more light movement). And even once the US adopts full matrix capability, I dont see it worth the cost.
I would get base led lights and move on. And yes those are the base lights. The chrome blends in better than youd think looking at them in person. At least they do on my chalk 992.
I got PDLS+ Matrix in all black because I like the way they look. I don't like the look of the base lights.
Aesthetics matter to me, so I'm willing to pay more for a certain look. Some people say it's a waste and no one notices the look of the lights. *I* notice. That's all that really matters.
Some say it's a waste because you don't get the functionality in the USA. Fair enough. Don't really care. I like the way they look.
The Matrix lights have a fully blacked out interior. The ring around the the interior of the light is a black chrome (similar to the black tailpipes).
I got PDLS+ as part of the premium package. I wanted the dynamic headlights more for what headlights are supposed to do than anything else, make more light or at least put the light in the most advantageous place. I think the base and PDLS+ put out the same light, but you dont get the active cornering. Not sure it matters THAT much. I will tell you though, the look of the lights from one to the other is similar. The Matrix have square lights for the X and the base and PDLS+ have round. Im sure both look great in the dark. The bright bits are not nearly as contrasted as you have in your picture. I have a JBT car and they look great, but then again, i like a little to break up the look of a black car. I got PSE with the chrome pipes instead of the black.
I also got PDLS+ as part of the Premium Package. I really like the bending of the Headlights when turning. This actually isn't a big deal when moving rapidly. Where it's really nice is when navigating a tight parking lot a narrow driveway that bends or similar, at speeds around 5 -15 mph. LED Headlights have a really sharp cut-off, such that what's illuminated is illuminated extremely well and what isn't is completely dark. It's a sharp line between light and dark with LED Headlights. Very different than what Incandescent Headlights do. Incandescent Headlights have a very broad and diffuse transition between light and dark that one doesn't think to much about until it's not there.
The attached is a picture of my PDLS+ Headlight with the Daylight Running Lights on (the 4 LEDs).

FWIW here are two pictures; one with the Headlight "On" and the other has a red arrow that points to the only non-black part of the Headlight Bucket and it's a flat aluminum color.

I dont think anyone would say its a waist when your buying a green Turbo S. At that price point, you would be cheap not to get them. lol. j/k. But I totally get your point.
If money is no object then certainly get what ever looks best to you. I also do very little night driving and I think the base head lights look fine so I would rather have that money in my pocket. No one is right no one is wrong it's whatever you want.

haha. True. I mean honestly, these cars are really a waste of money at the end of the day.
$750 for an aluminum shifter. $1200 for leather on the top of the dash. Painted exterior bits and pieces. It goes on and on.
It all blurs together and, at a certain point, you kind of have to say f*** it and just build what makes you happy.
