Default Build locks in 4 days and I have no clue!

Well, at least when it comes to exterior color and wheels

Everything else I know I'm getting:
C4S Manual coupe
Truffle Brown leather
Premium package
Sport package
Glass roof
Porsche headcrests
14s or 18s.

Color choice is driving me nuts. Intrigued by Aventurine, but not sure if I can stay in love with how green it is in the sunlight. GT Silver is classy but I'm worried I'm playing it safe. Chalk looks nice to me sometimes, other times not.

Never had so much trouble finalizing a car build!

I know it's a Champagne problem, but thanks for listening!

It's personal taste, but I don't think Chalk matches Truffle brown quite as nicely. I think the brown interior highlights some of the less desirable traits of Chalk.

Silver and Green are the two best colors to match Truffle.

Flip a coin. Heads green, tails silver. Your immediate reaction (good or bad) will be your gut feeling. Go with that.

Be aware that the lock date can move up without warning. Maybe your choice has already been made.

Guard’s Red looks nice!

Close your eyes and picture the first time you will see the car in your garage................that's the color. BTW, there is no bad choice here, go with your gut not your head.

Some great options to complement your choice of Truffle Brown! Be excited you have that figured out, it narrows things down.

GT Silver:
- GT Silver is the GT Cup car color for the first time in a long time with the 992
- GT Silver with Truffle Brown interior is gorgeous as GT silver has some brown hue and warmth in daylight (and this pair is featured on the US site alongside the text "Timeless design.")

White:
- The solid White has a bit of warmth to it. It will compliment the Truffle nicely.
- There's equal GT heritage in White, with most Cup cars coming in white until 992.
- solid White compliments the "throwback" nature of the 992 (horizontal dash, long, square hood.)
- Porsche has been using white-on-brown in a lot of side projects, like this and the LEGO 911 so they clearly think it's a winning duo.

Aventurine:
- Check out #makegreengreatagain - now would be the time to get a factory green color
- Averturine on Truffle looks equally amazing
- Only con is that it's too grey. Would be better if it were a bit more green/blue. (Amazon PTS anyone?)

Thanks Daft Chief for sharing such detailed thoughts! Agree w/ many of the positive attributes you've listed, and because there are no bad options, that almost makes it harder!

Another vote for green. But the other colors mentioned would make a good pair as well.

I think truffle is quite versatile, which doesn't help your case.
GT silver would look great. Some press pics were Dolomite, which also seems to work well. Agate would look very rich, but sounds like you may not like Grey. What about Night blue before they discontinue it? Or Shark blue ?!?!

Yes Truffle being versatile makes is trickier.

I'm also in based in SF in case you have one of these colors that I can see in the flesh

As mentioned above, Dolomite is another great option to pair with truffle brown.

White is classic / classy and will look great. Since my lock I have thought, should I have gone white but I wanted something more interesting. Not a bad choice at all though.

Chalk is also great. Alternative to white. Interesting but muted. Again was high in my list and sits in my mind.

my 997 is Midnight Blue Metallic which will not be available except for PTS after November so that is a great option.

I went for Gentian Blue because it is rich, pops in the sun and looks deep on dark days and at night and is more sporty/fun. But not for everyone.

All of those will go with your interior.

A lot of people go for GT Silver and for me that was reason enough not to. And Aventurine Green made me think cool, but kinda old and I don’t feel that old yet.

For wheels I think there are two options. Classics or Exclusives with accents painted in Satin Black. Both are stunning options.

If you're asking for opinions, my opinion is pair GT silver exterior with Truffle Brown interior.

But it really is all just personal preference. Any chance your local dealer has examples of the exterior colors in the showroom?

Which wheels are you considering?

My 2 cents, so many options but if you have not considered a nice touch is steering wheel base wrapped in leather, extended fuel tank. Good Luck! Dark blues?

I'm about 6 mos behind you on the 992 - plenty of time to choose a color . I have a '21 Cayenne S in jet black on blk/mojave so not very helpful.
