On the ED front, currently PORSCHE has cancelled the program from the US (my original goal was a late september targa ED) so even if the EU opens up I bet it'll take time for the program to get back up and running. I wasn't optimistic it could happen so I backed out and may try for a spring allocation next year to pick up in Germany in May.
I haven't checked with Porsche USA in about two weeks, but they told me ED was tentatively due to resume after the August factory shutdown, in early September. That was contingent on COVID cooperating, but maybe that has changed since then.

If you have a commission number and a v200 status is there a way to see when the build date is?

I’m not sure what the allure is for the targa. Is it just that it is “rare”.

for me I want a Porsche I can drive in the snow in winter; so it’s the 4wheel and 1 inch of extra height along with the roll bar look. But I just want to winter beat it so no ADM for me.

Yes, you can see the schedule, but only if you order a Targa.... that's the allure.

If you haven't already, ask your SA to run a report from he PSVM system. It would look like the attached. TYD will also provide the estimated dates for the various milestones. They will undoubtedly change during the process, but this is the best guess at the time.

yes did the same on my 2016 Boxster Spyder build and resale is higher than my msrp. I like fully loaded that I plan to keep. Resale not my concern. Ultimate enjoyment my mode. Love these cars meant to be driven!

The allure is it's awesome looking and a 911 and it's awsome looking and you can go topless while it also being awesome looking and it's still the best sports car in the universe. Oh, and I forgot to note that it's awesome looking.
