Need advise on changing a tire
Got a screw in my rear tire today. I used the flat fix and the air pump which worked great. Looking at the manual to change the tire and it says to remove a lug bolt and insert the assembly aid i guess to hold the rotor.
Where is this assembly aid?
Thanks

Buy two wheel guide pins. This keeps the wheel “square” or parallel and makes it easier. With PCCB, using two guide pins doesn’t allow the wheel to swing or turn which may chip a rotor. They are cheap insurance and make the job easier.

Cost, it’s a lot cheaper to just drill and tap a hole For a lug bolt. It Costs more to install studs you still have to drill and tap a hole but you also need to install a stud and you have A separate nut . Costs lot more than just of a hole for a bolt . Carl

I'd say ...mechanically superior attachment .

Studs are a consumable. They can crack, break, wear unevenly. I had aftermarket studs on a couple cars where swapping wheel sets (street vs track) was a regular occurrence. They are very convenient but I was told they should be replaced every 2 years if subject to the track, or possibly sooner. Not sure if OEM studs would be different.
