992 C2S Cabrio Configuration
Hi there! First post, first Porsche order in the making. Coming from a long line of BMW. Latest a 2-Series Coupe (M235) as DD an a G29 Z4 M40 in SF Red as a fun car. I am looking to replace the Z4 with a 992 S Cabrio. I am clear on most options (I will take Premium and Sport Packages) but agonize over the exterior/interior color combo:
Option 1: BOLD: Carmine Red with Carrera S Wheels in High Gloss Black with either Black or Beige Standard Interior. I know many go with Red on Black but for a Cabrio black seats is a bit hot and I have tan seats in the Z4. So question here is black or beige interior.
Option 2: Stealth: Agate Grey with RS Spyder Wheels and Black or Beige interior. Again preferring beige for above reasons.
Any thoughts? Any pics for those combinations from your cars?
Thank you!

Thanks! Stunning! I considered GR but I like the deeper red of CR over the orange hue of GR. Both spectacular colors though. How do you think about the black interior re: heat?

I'm interested in this as well. I will hopefully be getting a Targa 4S allocation and will be doing shark blue. I'm thinking of going with slate grey/chalk instead of black to cut down on heat in the summer. Black with blue stitching would also look good, but I'm still on the fence.

Doesn't black disperse heat faster too so the seats get cooled faster? Also would ventilated seats option solve the heat issue?

Ventilated seats will mitigate for sure. I think black has two disadvantages - especially in a Cabrio: 1. Heat; 2. a bit claustrophobic with top up and all black all around you. Red interior is a no go for me, lighter options (chalk etc.) too painful to keep clean. Leaving Mojave Beige/Black standard as the only viable option.

I think Truffle Brown with chalk stitching would look great.

Go with the Option 2. This is mine. Black seats, but deviated to alleviate the claustrophobic feel with top up.
I also find the car inconspicuous when parked with the roof up. Like that

It's interesting that you are choosing between red and gray, because they are very different colors.
Gray is inconspicuous, as has been stated above.
Red is more loud. Hey look at me! I'm a sports car!
I for one want my car to be loud because I've never owned a sports car and this may very well be the only one I ever own in my life, so I wanted to go ALL IN (the other color I was considering was black).

I selected Agate Grey over black interior for my 2021 2S mainly because with the black painted Carrera S wheels it looks bad-*** but is not overly conspicuous. Gentian blue was my second choice but I thought I might not like it after a while. Red or yellow sports cars scream "midlife crisis" to me and would attract too much attention, which I prefer to not get, especially from the local constabulary. Color is the most personal choice on the configurator and there really is no bad option. Enjoy whatever you pick!
