Red is more loud. Hey look at me! I'm a sports car!

I for one want my car to be loud because I've never owned a sports car and this may very well be the only one I ever own in my life, so I wanted to go ALL IN (the other color I was considering was black).
I am driving a San Francisco Red BMW Z4 right now (see pic), so I fully get what you are saying. I find Carmine Red over Black breathtaking. I looked at Grey as well as I was unsure if I will like CR/Black still in a year or two. Today I looked at a Cayman in Agate Grey in flesh and removed it from consideration.

Red or yellow sports cars scream "midlife crisis" to me and would attract too much attention, which I prefer to not get, especially from the local constabulary. Color is the most personal choice on the configurator and there really is no bad option. Enjoy whatever you pick!
I get what you are saying. I guess my line of thinking is that, if I decide to spend $140k on a car, it better not have the same color as millions of Camrys, Hondas etc. Then I wonder if I will like a Grey Stealth look better after a year or two...

I am driving a Mineral Grey BMW M235 Coupe as Daily and after looking at an Agate Grey Cayman today, I decided to remove that color from consideration.

Now I have two final options to decide form: Carmine Red over Black and Gentian Blue over ??. I will agonize over this a few days and then make a call.

Have you considered Agate over Bordeaux? Subtle on the outside with the "flair" on the inside

Not so much into red interior. I do like your Ferrari though!

It looks like the Ferrari is sitting there gathering dust.

I just simply don’t get the love of black wheels. I personally (yes my opinion) think they look terrible, like a spare tire donut. I do like the Exclusives with the black accents that make them pop, or other wheels you see with the faces in silver or gunmetal and black sides for depth and contrast but I simply don’t get the whole all black wheel craze or the black badging. I think the black badging looks great on Chalk or White, but that is about it.

I ordered the Carrera S wheels in metallic black on my Agate Grey 2S for two reasons. First, its a motorsports look, and second, they are much easier to maintain.

I too, cannot do black wheels. And they are even worse than silver ones to keep clean. I really like the gray matte paint on the optional Spyder wheels I have on my Cab. They hide the dust better than any other color. Mine is Metallic Black with Bordeaux interior. (shown next to my friend's M3 with black wheels)

Beige might be harder to maintain than black: https://rennlist.com/forums/992/1184...l#post16460460
I have never felt claustrophobic in a car.
