Default Any Aventurine Green owners in the Bay Area? The clock is ticking!

I have 15 days left until my order freezes and I’m trying to see an Aventurine Green car so I can try to break the gridlock between Chalk, GT Silver, and Aventurine Green. Dealers don’t have any AG cars (though Redwood City might be delivering one soon).

If you have an Aventurine car in the Bay Area, I’d be grateful to see it!

I have a new 2021 aventurine green C4S. I am in the East Bay but happy to show it if you send me a personal message.

The first time that I got to see Aventurine Green in person was when my SA took me to see my own car going through PDI. My 992 was the first sold and registered in Pennsylvania, so it wasn't like there was an opportunity to see another one. It's a fantastic and very dynamic color. Enjoy!

I have a 2021 C2 in Aventurine Green and live near San Mateo. Feel free to send me a message if you would like to see it. Congratulations on your color choice.

So, what did color did you choose, and why? I'm in the same boat. My freeze date is June 1. Right now, GT Silver with sport-tex interior is my choice. But I'm not sold on the color; aventurine green and chalk are the other contenders.

All I can say I’ve had my Aventurine Green 992 for about a week, and I have received soooooooooo many positive comments about the color. People I don’t even know recognize what a 911 looks like, but come up and ask about the color. Personally, I am soooooooooo happy I chose this color. My first choice, when I started my build, was GT Silver. My wife’s comment was - way too many other cars are “silver”, won’t stand out. I will say, she has an artists eye for colors and I’m glad I took her advice.

I also went with the Iceland Green/Black interior, and it complements the Aventurine Green, perfectly.

It's my wife who is saying the same thing. Could you post some pics?

My comment is - it does NOT appear as olive green as shown in the picture above. This picture makes the paint look “flat” and non-metallic. See the picture above, with the car in the shop...that is a better rendering, IMO. Although with that said, and the thing that attracted me to this color was that it literally changes color hues depending on the lighting (ie cloudy/sunny day) and angle you are viewing from. The color hue variations that I have noticed are: (1) Greenish-silver; (2) Grey-green; (3) bluish-green....the green flex in the paint are very subtle, and in person, don’t look as pronounced as what it looks like in the build pictures. I think Porsche needs to work on their color rendering accuracy.

I'm thinking about this same configuration with the exclusive design wheels, Iceland Green interior with Paldao wood trim. I still can't find an accurate representation of the Iceland Interior, though. Every time I post a photo someone says, "no, that's not really what it looks like."

Regarding pics of the Aventurine Green, here is another thread from a while back with a lot of pics from owner’s cars:

This video nailed it: There are four shades (hues) with Aventurine Green:

Here is another video (there are tons) of the Aventurine Green. This one shows hues of brown:

All I can say is, it is a truly amazing color.
