Has anyone every noted these wires in the windshield before, on both the driver and passenger sides. I assume they are antennae but, not sure for what. Never seen the up and down orientation. When I first saw them, I though OH SHI@$%^$##I got a crack. Then I thought my wipers left the mark, until I looked closer.

In the early 1970's GM used a Windshield AM/FM Antenna . . . . with mixed results.

Alfa did in the GTV6 as well, also mixed results. The wire was on the inside so exposed to damage and the connection was a plug at the bottom center that stuck out so also exposed to being knocked and pulling off the glass.

Yes, for some reason I never noticed them before last week as well. Odd. Mine aren’t as neatly placed as yours.
