I already ordered mine also, and paid.
Lidliner, what's the discount? I'd rather skip the discount if it will delay my order.

So when you roll the car over, whatever is in the frunk doesn't damage the hood, from the inside out.

I'm sure someone's got a photo of a "hood ding" caused by closing the hood on something in the frunk.

Not very common if you pay attention to how you are loading the frunk. Too me, creating a solution to a problem that should not exist.

I buy it more for the ‘finished’ look. I never max out the bonnet space.

It will have NO utility on my 992 -- but it's gonna look mighty fine against that Guards Red car highlighted with black accents!
(at least, when I open the frunk at Walmart ....)

That piece should be 79 bucks with the Porsche tax ALREADY added to it. I could see 199 for the frunk TUB and that top piece as a combo... sure. But 199 for that alone is gaffing people. But if people think it looks nice for 200 bucks. Go for it. I'll pass.

It might sell for that someday - but right now it's a seller's market for 992 lid liners. There are plenty of us (including me, I admit) that will overpay - and for something we probably don't even need. I've tried to pack a lot whole of stuff into the frunk more times than I can count, including some rigid items that I was worried might leap up and ding the hood if I hit a bump - a lid liner makes me feel better.
