Default Negotiating 911 purchase.

Apparently, Taycan demand has distracted production personnel from 911 order fulfillments. The resulting order process has become vague. Dealer allocations are a moving target, and pricing MSRP or greater.

Please share your experiences.

This is the air cooled 911 subforum. Look for water cooled subforum to post your question.

Wow, are they building new air-cooled 911s again alongside the Taycan? Who knew?

I wish. However, they would probably weigh 4000 lbs.

The forum you probably want is for the 992, the actual model number for the cars marketed as non-turbo 911s from 2019-present:
https://rennlist.com/forums/992-245/

As said, the ones discussed in this forum don't have water cooling, and cover the 911s as produced from 1964-1989.

But I'll say I do like these occasional misdirected posts. Interesting to hear about the supply and pricing issues on the new ones. Good luck getting a deal.

And to be more specific, and totally confusing, the current non turbo 911’s, ie the regular 911’s are in fact turbo charged.
