Macan > RR. Build quality of RRs isn’t that great, big old non-sporty bus. They can take an impact though, so for safety I can’t knock them.

My Range Rover Sport (HST) is the best alternative ride for me.

I do the Donner Pass (HWY 80) twice a month back to California and the Rover is the perfect vehicle for the long distance open road. Two years ago my wife and I got slammed onto the concrete barrier around Farad by a semi. If that had happened in my Porsche, somebody could have been hurt.

I don't have any beauty shots to post of my silver RR Sport because its always dirty, as it should be.

Tesla Model Y.

The "best EV on the market" notwithstanding, the Tesla offers similar performance at a (WAY) lower price point.

It also, drives/handles like a BMW, and easily swallows everything you might need to haul, such as the contents of a kid's dorm.

You can also sleep in it comfortably should the need arise - camping/etc.

It also gets OTA updates a couple times a month with meaningful improvements. The auto industry has a lot to learn from Tesla.

For where I live, fishing and camping with my 30 foot camper, siberian hauler, propane tank getter etc. the one and only, the mightily modified V8 Touareg with air suspension. If could only swap out the 6 speed tiptronic for a 7 speed DSG...
