Brought this home today as my daily driver to my 992 S. The V8 engine in this Cayenne GTS is intoxicating and this is one pretty quick truck.
As this is the third new Porsche I've bought from Porsche Bethesda (MD) in the past 7 months, they offered me one of their three remaining 992 GT3 allocations. Repeat clients get perks! I took a pass on it, I would just buy it to flip it. They are taking orders on GT3's at over MSRP. Their first allocation was $ 75K over MSRP, they are now doing $ 40K over MSRP. I was offered one at $ 25K over MSRP. lol.
But if you are in the Washington DC area, this is the place to buy your car. They have the best prices, and friendliest staff vs the other local dealers. I definitely recommend them. They also told me all 992's are sold out for the rest of of 2021 at their store, they have one base model Carrera Couple coming in to sell and that's it.

Look guys, this was NOT a thread about getting a 992 GT3. That was just informational.
I bought a Porsche Cayenne GTS which stickered at $ 122,700 and was able to get $ 14K off MSRP plus $ 3K higher on my trade than the other two Porsche stores in town. That's a good deal in anyone's book.
The immaturity on this list never ceases to amaze me.
So let me get this right...the perks of buying three new Porsches in the last seven months is being 3rd in line to get gouged on a new GT3? So how many new Porsches did the first guy on that list have to buy to be first in line to get gouged at $75k over?

First guy didn’t have a Porsche. He was too excited for the New GT3 that he was okay with the $75k markup
Never have understood why Porsche allows such open price gouging on their GT cars. But nice Cayenne, looks great in black I must say (and white too from the garage!)
I don't know why people are still paying ADM on the GT3. There is a strong chance Porsche will pump out a lot of these (look at 991.2 GT3 and GT4 production numbers)...this is no longer a car you can safely buy with ADM and then turn around and sell a couple years later without losing much money.

Agree with this. It may take a few years to get one, but I think anyone who wants one should eventually be able to get one at MSRP.
Nice Cayenne. If a Taycan Cross Turismo 4s could come in at or near the same price, the higher-end Cayennes (and maybe even Macan Turbo) might see reduced sales going forward. Yours will sound better though <g>

When I bought my 992 C2S and was considering the TTS, my SA told me that Porsche forbids dealer markup on new cars. Is this not true or does it not apply to the GT cars?

Porsche does not forbid markups , they discourage it , but they don't stop it and I am not sure they can .
they discourage it by awarding or limiting some allocations
like one thing they did recently is limit some allocations to dealers that sell out of their region , but overall allocation system is very complicated and has multiple variablles to it
