Default Alpine Pilot P5 + Rims

So need info on the above. Can someone please let me know the following (yes, I know some have said it's fine going square other not, some are fine with 19/20 whilst others purport only what has been issued should be considered for the 992). So to recap, I'm interested (since I don't have the Nokian option) to get some Alpine Pilot P5s winter tires + rims. Can someone recommend tire size plus rims with correct offset please (posting where to buy will get extra credit)! TIA

Save yourself the money and just buy tires. I got an awesome deal from my Porsche dealer. Michelin Pilot Alpin PA5s mounted and balanced on my OEM Carrera Classics and they are storing my Summer tires until April, then will swap and they’ll then store my winters. 245/35r20 front and 295/30r21 rear. Cost me $2k altogether.

If you insist on wheels and tires, check out SuncoastParts.com and GetPorscheParts.com. You’re looking at about $4k for OEM 19/20 setup or $5400 for 20/21 OEM setup. You can build a package on Tire Rack. 20/21 OZ Leggeras will cost you $2400. Tires another $1900. TPMS another $100.

I think you forgot where I live. My dealer is 400 miles away and I'm not driving 800 miles twice a year to change tires and on top have the dealer charge me for storage. I need the best winter tires and some nice but not extravagant rims. Alas I don't think Tire Rack has any left but I now have the right size to go look elsewhere.

I saw Alaska and assumed you were relatively close to Anchorage, and Porsche Anchorage but no, I don’t know where you live, how would I? TireRack has tires in stock and they will have wheels in stock in a couple weeks if you can wait. Also check the Rennlist Marketplace. There were a couple sets of wheels for sale last I checked. Marvin Klass is selling a set of satin black 992 Carrera S takeoff wheels. Buy those and ship them to you. Those unfortunately have summer tires but you could always buy winters from Tire Rack and have them mounted at a local tire shop.

I did aftermarket wheels with Vossen. Turned out great and less cost than Porsche wheels.

There is huge thread on this which you may find helpful...

Sorry about the harshness I didn't mean for it to come out like that. Other than warranty I don't deal with Kendall Anchorage. The tech folks are good the rest to be forgotten. As to distance I'm about 400 miles or so. Thanx for the pointer, appreciate it!

Ended up getting the OZ Leggera/Michelin Alpine setup with TPMS' from TireRack. Total with shipping via FedEx 3 day air to AK came to $4,600. Delivery by March 10 or so. Thanx for your inputs.
