5% seems to be the best I can do I was shooting for seven. Dealer Who I really like and I’ve done a ton of business with told me at auction they were going for MSRP.
What’s the number most people are seeing for discount ? the car was ordered for me. Thanks carl

Its a sellers market still. Take the 5 and be happy if you ask me.

Are they offering an actual allocation or just an order? 5% is really good right now...if it comes with an allocation. Places in my area that would do 5% for allocations 6 months ago are not discounting at all. Later this year the supply demand imbalance could correct making a higher discount possible. Or...allocations could be as hard to come by as they are now.

The car is built and on a boat Rcc Asia
should be at the dealer in two weeks I ordered it in November. 992SMT Carrera white 124 MSRP. This is the 18th car I’ve bought from them in addition I referred 16 more over the last 20 years. So I guess it’s not like I just walked in off the street. Thanks for the input. Carl

5% from MSRP sounds pretty good right now. Hopefully that's not a figure you're being quoted based on something you're trading in. That'd shed a whole new light on it, or maybe shadow would be a better word.

Considering dealers make tons of money on options and your C2S is a relatively skinny build (hard to believe a C2S at $124k is skinny), that’s an outstanding discount. You’d be hard pressed to get 5% discount on a car with $30k more in options right now.

No trade just a straight up deal. I do need to figure out what I’m going to do with my GT 4. I love the car I just don’t drive it now @8700 miles:in 4.5 yrs. A broker offered 79 its yellow with buckets full leather . I think retail is mid 80s? .Carl

Now I'm sure I could option a C2S for $124k but you are right, that is skinny, and tough to do. I was originally at $133-135 and have settled near $138-139. This is not a short term car for me, and I figure I would regret skimping on a few options in order to bring it lower. And for a discount, I got nothing.

I had a dealer try to tell me I can order it whatever way I want, but that the typical Porsche range for a C2S is $148k-153k, and that anything below $140k might affect resale. Hint hint wink wink nod nod. Let's just say I started talking to a different dealer.
