Right dial bezel turns red on acceleration.

Right dial bezel turns red on acceleration.
Greetings,
watch this video and tell me why the bezel on the right dial turns red. The accelerator is about 60% down ( not floored ) and this is very repeatable. I noticed the same thing happens to the left dial bezel does the same when it goes thru 70mph which is where my first speed limit is set to.
what do you think?

The red ring indicates which side is highlighted/selected for interacting with using the steering wheel control scroller. There is also a button for switching sides, and if you press it you’ll see this ring jump back and forth.
I haven’t used max speed alerts, but it looks like when you go above the setting, you can clear the alert? If so, it seems a minor UI bug/feature where it is indicating that the selected dial has switched back to the right side since the left no longer needs access - if that makes sense.

I think the left bezel turns red when I hit the 70mph mark, just because I exceeded the first limit but I don't think the speed limit event in the left dial is related to the right dial bezel going red.
The right bezel doesn't go red until I take my foot off the accelerator around 90 mph... you can hear the decelerating event start at the same time the right dial turns red.
On the lighter side -- I have the 70mph and 100 mph limits set because it gives me an audible alarm when I'm not looking down. Keeps me out of trouble.

You can clearly see in your video that you have a speed limit alert set at 70 and another at 100mph in the analog Speedometer gauge on the left and as soon as you hit that speed you get the alert. Turn that off.

I think the question is; Why did the dial on the right get the RED circle at second # 21? It wasn't highlighted in RED at any other time in his video. I am thinking/guessing that when the system stops warning of the overspeed condition, perhaps it is momentarily (maybe the video isn't long enough) showing which dial has been/was selected prior to the overspeed condition?

Your explanation makes the most sense to me.

OK -- did a test on the way home. Slowly sped up to 75. As I slowly crossed the 70mph threshold, the alarm went off, the left bezel went red and then... a second or so later, the right bezel went red. So I was wrong, it was indeed all about the speed alarm. I'm not surprised that the left bezel went red because that's where the alarms are set and displayed. Just not too sure why the right bezel also ( a little later) turned red. For the record, I said it: I was wrong Ours is not to wonder why, ours is but to do or die.
Peace.
