I had to do it a little different.
I loosened all the screws. Then I removed 3 of the 4 heat shield screws. Then I removed the complete Catylic converter. I held it with one hand and used a 22mm wrench to undo the O2 sensor, then removed the whole thing.
After I installed the Soul cat completely. After it was installed, I took the O2 sensor gave it 5 full turns counter clockwise and screwed it into the cat. Double checked all connections and done.
The full process took me about 30min including making a little video with my kid.

Nice video, great bonding experience for you and your son. Nothing beats the satisfaction of taking the car out for a ride after and seeing the smile on his face.
If anyone wants to bond with me for an install, let us know and we'll get a Soul product on your vehicle haha!

Thanks for taking the time to make that video...I'll use it when installing my bypass pipes.
Regarding the sound of the sport cats; How would you rank the sound decibel increase on a scale of 1-10 with 1 being stock and 10 being straight-piped loud AF? Some of the videos for the sport cats I've heard sound basically stock but I realize a YouTube video doesn't represent real life sound quality.

Thank you, im trying to keep my son busy and what better way than working on the car together and bonding. I will try to post videos with him about anything regarding the Porsche or cars as I get requests or ideas
When we were driving it after, the car sounded stockish in normal driving mode. In Sport mode, the car was louder. I would say 3-4 on a scale 1-10. You do hear it more, but it's not obnoxiously loud and not quiet either. Mind you all this is with windows closed as it's -40 degrees Celsius where we are right now. But in the cabin it sounds good definitely I would recommend.

You can also get to the top through the wheel well, same area that gets exposed when you're doing the intake filter. I opted to go this route because latching onto the bottom felt risky.
