If so,
Separate piece, easily replaceable.

As an example only.

There are different lips for the standard PASM front, vs SPASM front vs Sport Design front. From a previous post (can't find it currently) the SPASM front lip is a different part # from the Sport Design lip (PASM or SPASM)

OK, good to know...just so long as the lip for the Sports design package is not part of the front bumper fascia (ie, built into the front facia)...but is a separate item that can be replaced.

Also, from what I remember, the Sport Design lip replacement was considerably more expensive than the other 2 lips.

I have PASM, Sports Design option and FAL. I've not needed the FAL. I have driven everywhrere and I have had the car for over a year now. I got FAL because of the Sport Design. Spend it on something else!

Thanks for the advice, but prob will keep the FAL as insurance. May never need, but if I ever do, it’s a nice peace of mind feature.

Have any of you guys, that have the Sports design Package, installed the metal screen in front of the radiators for protection? Do they need protection from thrown rocks/etc?

I see they are available for the 991.1 and 991.2, but not the 992. I wonder if that is because the car is too new, or because the wind flaps that come standard protect the radiator?

Malibu515 posted some stills from this video. It appears they allude to a "kit" for the newer 992, but it only protects the sides of the bumper behind the lip. However, their store doesn't have it.

Zunsport makes grills for the 992, both for standard and the Sports Design Front Fascia. Currently, their center grill for the Sports Design only fits if you DO NOT have the front camera. A version with the front camera cutout is due in March.

Thanks. I think for my normal drive, or until I track the car, I’m not going to worry about this too much. For comparison, I looked at the front grill and radiators on my M4. They too have minimal protection from rocks, and actually have a bigger cross sectional radiator area than the 992...and while, after 4 years of everyday use (no track), it does show a few bugs and a few leaves on the radiators, there is no noticeable rock damage of any consequence (knock on wood!). But I probably will want the protective screen once I’m ready to track/after the break-in period.
