Question Aftermarket clock for a 992

I drive a 992 4S, whithout the sport chrono package, but I'd like to install a reliable aftermarket clock on the dash, I mean just the clock, not the whole sport chrono package.
Any suggestions where I could order one ?

Interesting idea. Our '19 Cayenne did not have Sport Chrono but did have a regular clock in that position which was really cool.

I think the best option would be to look on eBay for breakers selling the chrono dash part along with a chrono (I saw a few)
After that I am sure there is a connection behind the dash for power to drive the clock part. However I am not sure if this would require the sports chrono option etc.
failing that then you would need a clock that’s the same size as the chrono.

Did you need to purchase an adapater set of wires or was it plug and play?

After installing a Snow Performance VC50 controller in the stock clock area, using the Sport Chrono dash panel on a car without Sport Chrono, I am fairly sure that there is no spare harness just sitting under there. I was hoping as you are that they made the same harness for 2 diff dash types, but it seems they did not and I went looking for it. You can at least buy the trim panel for the center dashboard and maybe run your own wiring down to the fuse box or just use some type of battery-operated clock and just 3D print a bezel that will lock it into place, as the factory clock does like a quarter turn to remove out of the panel. Good luck!

You will probably need a wiring harness, this is a 991.2 but the process should be similar.

Think these guys carry it (same shop that upgrades the Carplay/Android Auto UI to full screen ... probably my favorite upgrade on the car strangely enough).
