Default FAL errors

Hi,

I have a 2021 c2s with FAL. I have been getting random error messages where the FAL error light will illuminate on the dash and the car will have difficulty fully de-activating lift and stutter for 20 seconds. Also, the FAL on my c2s sounds far different than my 2018 GT3 with lift. The GT3 has a very continues mechanical "whirring". The 992 sounds like someone is inflating a noisy balloon; it sounds "off". I am takin the car in for service tomorrow, just was curious if anyone else is having FAL problems?

thx

j

I’ve mentioned elsewhere, but my drivers side failed/blew/bled out after just under 7k miles. They replaced the entire unit.

I had an issue with my new 2021 c2s with only 150 miles on it. After raising it while leaving house due to driveway received an error message on the dash and FAL would not lower. Brought to dealer and was told that the error message was "passive"? It was reset and no problems since although haven't been driving it much since due to weather here in Northeast.

The FAL on my 2021 C2S also sounds like a noisy balloon. I got an error reported in the first week of ownership saying service required but I turned the car off and it went away and worked fine when I restarted it. I’m still under 2k miles but it has worked fine other than the one error early on.

I got the error message on my 2021 Targa4S with less than 500 miles on the car. Worked for about 2 weeks before the error message came up and FAL stopped working. Crazy to me that Porsche would let this happen.

Ended up having my entire fal unit and strut replaced. Car is still noisy but less so. No errors yet
