My wife lets me buy 911s. Who needs a better marriage than that?

Small 992 gripe: I miss the headlight spray washers I’ve had on previous Porsches. Driving in winter I used them pretty regularly. Now when driving at night I’ve had to stop, get out and clean the headlights.

I love my 992. Wouldn't change a thing. Wife picked out the color, so she's onboard too. Quite lucky to have such a nice vehicle.

Great for a showpiece, but not real good for riding access. Beautiful bike, btw.

1. SHIFTER CONSOLE LAYOUT. The blank (not black) but blank space around the shifter (which I have no real problem with). There needs to be better use of that empty space. Maybe something along the lines of the Panamera (as pictured below), even though I am not a fan of touch screens, it beats the total blank space now.

2. TRACTION CONTROL. A way to completely disable all traction control management systems. Like totally off.

3. INDIVIDUAL SETUP. A way to individually setup the dynamics of the car -- e.g., Sport+ for suspension, Sport for drivetrain, Sport for steering, Sport+ for exhaust.

That's about it.
1. It's a sports car. No need for to many buttons
2. Just switch PSM off with the according button. Good luck with it on public roads

3. You forgot to order the SportChrono package. A bad idea on a 911 for many resons. You just detected one

Perhaps we're better off without it

This came as a surprise to me as well (on my “base” Targa 4). Apparently, they’re on the S and above on the 991.2 ... I guess this also applies to the 992 ?

I was going to order a 992 but now I've decided not to because of all this bad stuff, especially the fact that it's pricey. Yuck.

My longtime girlfriend loves to go car shopping, would prefer a trip to the Porsche dealer over a trip to Louis Vuitton or Chanel. Planning on building/buying a new house, she’s already informed the realtor not to show us anything with has less than a 4 car garage along with ceiling heights that will accommodate lifts for even more cars. People often ask why I don’t marry her, I believe that answer is self explanatory.
