Default Please help me with interior trim order!

Hey everybody. I'm very new here. Never owned a Porsche and finally decided to pull the trigger on my dream car. I submitted the order on Tuesday so its barely going into production next week, but I'm going back and fourth on my trim selection and time is running out. Just wanted your opinions since configuration pics aren't great.

Exterior color chalk
Interior color black
Interior color trim inlays painted in chalk.

I saw what the painted trim inlays looks like for red and yellow and I really didn't like them. Can't find any pics or videos of the chalk option.

Any tips, suggestions, pics? Anyone seen it in person.

Please let me know! Other option might be brushed aluminum if chalk doesn't look great in person.

I wanted the carbon trim as I have had this on most cars (Porsche and Mercedes). But to be honest this time I took the standard trim (kinda diamond pattern) and I really like it.

the only thing that annoys me is the piano black around the gear shifter and seat heating buttons (mainly for scratches). I covered these in carbon trim but am thinking about ordering these in carbon from db Carbon as they now offer these. In this case I would have preferred the carbon dash trim also.

Did you ever consider or look at the brushed aluminum trim?

I did look, but to be honest didn’t really like as there is nothing much else aluminium inside. Also with the standard trim the door handles are a dark colour. I am not sure on the others.

I also did consider the car color ( gt silver) but didn’t like these either, too much colour.

In general interior trim painted in external color never really works out. Chalk might be a little better but still personally do not think it is a good idea.

Second on the standard diamond trim, it looks pretty good, I'm happy with it in mine.

you may find the chalk trim will be subject to smudges and scratches. Either the standard trim or aluminum is a better option.
Otherwise, Chalk is a really nice look. Best to get a full wrap as it will show paint chips like crazy !

I picked the brushed aluminum just to break up the standard black interior. I was worried about scratching also so I thought brushed aluminum would be a little more durable. I wonder if you can cover those piano black parts with clear film and it would look good? Once the plastic is scratched there is no fixing it.

I have avoided scratches on the piano black areas of my Porsche with a simple spray of Griot's Speed Shine. It has also worked to stop smudges and scratches in my BMW M500 which also has large swatches of piano black. A simple and inexpensive answer to a problem everyone has complained about.

I like the look of brushed aluminum in an all black interior. Helps break up the sea of black, while also matching the silver diamar trim surrounding the inlays. I also like that it ties-in a subtle reminder of a mostly aluminum exterior.

I would avoid Chalk painted interior trim. I've seen it in person at it looks...umm...cheap for lack of a better word. The alum trim looks MUCH better IMO and is the trim to get. Painted trim *might* work if its one of the darker paint colors (black, greys, etc) but the lighter or brighter colors just end off coming through like cheap painted plastic panels.

Although not on a black interior here is Chalk painted trim on Bordeaux/Chalk interior. In person it just comes off as white glossy plastic.

I'm partial to the standard trim as well as the pattern matches the knurling on all of the switchgear.

Brushed aluminum is a nice look with black interior. I have never seen a painted trim build that I liked. All personal preference, but I would avoid the painted interior trim like the plague.

I put PPF on the piano black trim on the centre stack...Xxpel has kit and my installer said it went on quite nicely.
