Mine has a bit of a backstory... At work I created a product codename Spool. The senior leadership of the company only ever called it SPOOLS – I have no idea where they got the extra "s" from, and even if we referred to it as Spool in a reply, they'd still use SPOOLS. It became an in-joke, but given that they were funding the project, and by extension funding my 992, I figured they can call it whatever they want!

I was originally going to get a Turbo S, so the name did double work there. I ended up going with the Targa 4S which is still turbocharged, so the plate still works at face value... But, as Paul Harvey used to say, now you know the rest of the story.

Back in my mainframe days we'd spool to DASD or some sort of buffered output device.....guess coming from Washington and your user name there's a good chance your product has a similar role?

Yes, not mainframe, but cloud-based, although I did start my career writing COBOL programs on a VM/XA mainframe. Good times, said no programmer ever

I'll post photos when they're on but just reserved: ARC2ARC
It ties together skiing and the 992.

very similar; VM/370, 4331/41, 3081, 3090, S/390, way back when. These days OpenText ECM mainly, my guys know I have a technical background but they wish I'd stay out their way!

Wow, personalized plates. Let's be an even more obvious target and trackable than a Porsche already is.

Trackable? LOL, what is the difference between posting a picture here and someone seeing my car and plate when I'm driving? Here's a secret for you, people see your license plate too.

Like for example, they'd know if you were where you weren't supposed to be.

As with any license plate. No difference with personalized except in your imagination.
