I don’t really want the front axle lift system, but I’m afraid I’ll need it. This is my first Porsche. My friend who races Porsches recommends it. Although I don’t think he has it on any of his cars.

Some more pics of night blue metallic for reference. It’s a great color that really comes to life in direct sunlight with a ton of metallic flake.

Very nice color. It was one of my dilemma on order. The color change during the day exactly like Aventurine Green. Magnifique!

Having seen midnight blue next to Gentian blue, Midnight is definitely a darker tone, but super nice. Seems much darker and deep of a color in shade, dark, or cloudy days, but much brighter under light or the sun. That is probably true for most metallic colors anyway.

As far as the front lift system being a "need", I must say that if you are a careful and conscious driver with a big of common sense, you will not scrape the front ever if not at least 99% OF THE TIME. I am on my 2nd 911 and I am yet to touch the front with anything on the road or scrape it in any way. Not sure how other people have managed, but it is certainly something useless to ME PERSONALLY. YMMV......

As you know, it is impossible to render color shades on a monitor but there is a difference between Night and Midnight blue so the above pictures are not representative. That said, my '07 C2S is painted Midnight and it looks black in the garage but purple in direct sun. I would rather have a lighter blue (like Sapphire or Aqua) but this is the car that appealed to me, especially since it had a blue interior.

Night blue metallic is my favourite. That is all. I’m biased too.

Mine on delivery day - (seeing this again makes me want to get another one dangit - that was a fun day

.). I was going for something conservative but not gray. Frankly - I think I'd go with Agate Gray next only to mix it up since I have Night Blue on this one.
I did get FAL and have used it a few times - whether it was necessary or not I do not know because I have yet to scrape anything - which is kind of the point. I do wish I had a joker button on the dash (not just steering) in place of the FAL button as my other options take up all the button slots.

997usa very nice. Seeing all these night blue cars reassures me I’m making good choice. Thank-you.

My only uncertainty about the build is the Front Axle Lift System. I would really like to delete it, but am unsure.

Did you paint RS Spyder wheels? Those look darker than OEM. Great combo with PCCB yellow calipers!

Love the combo. I'm getting classic wheels too. I have a dark blue car and passed this time around in favor of GT silver. I wish that Truffle brown didnt extend to the dash and steering wheel.

Yes, I couldn’t stand the silver rim edges.

First two pictures are with the orange side lights and second two pictures are with the clears.
Beautiful color. Very elegant.
