I have GT silver. If you like silver cars I think it’s a great color. I thought about brighter colors( have had Guards Red) but prefer the silver long term.

Saw a Dolomite Silver with the black/bordeaux interior and it looked fantastic, so that is how my order is. I'm a sucker for two tone interiors.

Yes it was - and I'm still waiting for liquid metal silver from the 918 to be available. I think maybe Porsche charged so much for that silver paint (>$50k) that they're inhibited from releasing it for a more normal cost.

GT Silver is an absolute classic. Got it on my 992 Targa and love it. Lots of depth and a "true" silver. I like Dolomite also, but it has quite a bit of blue in it and my personal preference is the GT silver.

Saw this at my dealership on Tuesday. They let me come back in the shop when they started it up. WOW

Here the current and prior.
Also, sugar coated one. GT silver has a nice depth to it. Used to be a special color, expensive up to the 991.1

[QUOTE=Scott Mayers;17165710]After my last three bmws being varying shades of gray I swore I was going to get a color this time.

and yet ended up w gt silver. Couldn’t be happier. Easy to care for and really shows the lines of the car.

[/QUOTEBeautiful. Are those the satin platinum wheels? I go back and forth between those and the RS Spyders.

yes those are the satin platinums. I was dead set on rs spyders as they are beautiful wheels. However. Personally I don’t think they go well on silver.

had black wheels on my last car and they looked spectacular. Seems a lot would opt for the satin black w Gt silver and that looks awesome too.

however. These are fantastic at hiding brake dust. And hopefully a little less common.

I love the way the 992 in GT Silver looks without the glass sunroof.

Do any of you miss it when sitting inside as it really opens up the cabin? What were your reasons for not selecting the option?

I always have had sun roofs in my cars, but I rarely use them.
Sunroofs systems seem to have issues as the car ages, rattles, leaks, motors not working, simply my personal experience.

I order my 992 C2S without, I like the look better as well.
