Glad to hear everyone is okay. Despite the lack of crash test data, I do believe the 911 is incredibly safe for what it is. I'm sure the Taycan is as well .
A little over a year ago, a large moving truck slammed into me on the highway. The truck directly hit my drivers side and the car held strong - it did not crumble into the passenger compartment.
I would have been relatively unscathed except my arm pushed into the steering wheel. The wheel split the web between thumb and index finger, breaking my thumb and wrist. Surgery, steel plate, lots of PT and I'm back to normal now.
Wow. So sorry to hear about the demolished 992 but so happy both wife and child were protected by the Porsche engineering. Still have 2 beautiful cars and more importantly 2 beautiful family members. Cars can be replaced.
