The debt markets are crazy and show no signs of changing anytime soon...unless...the new administration and their Congress come up with some really expensive programs and someone adds up the effect from that and stimulus. In the meantime rates are hard to pass up.

Check Chase-- they are easy to deal with. You should be able to get at least 2.99 for 60 mos.

I was offered 1.99% today. I could have misheard as I am buying the car outright.

If you are eligible I’d look at Navy Federal. 1.79% on 36 months. Exceptional service and they issue a check that you can just pickup at a branch and take to the dealer.

Because the money is so cheap it just makes sense. They will go well over $100k so long as your profile supports it. I got $160k at 1.99%. Pretty hard
to beat. You need to be either prior military or have an immediate family member who was/is and they can bestow a membership. I can’t emphasize enough how incredible their customer service is. I was in and out of the branch in less than 5 minutes with the check. I really like the fact that the dealer has no involvement in the financing.

I just joined Navy Federal. When you say as "long as your profile supports it" what is that based on? Beyond debt to income ratio, just credit history, or an established record of banking with them, salary deposit etc. Their rates are amazing.

I would have to go to their branch in San Diego I think!

I’m not entirely sure what they look for. I know for sure that loans >100k have to go through a special approval process. You can get a pre approval without having to put in the details of the car you want. I’ve financed 4 >$100k cars with them and have never had them ask any question or request verifications. My score at the time was right around 750 if that helps. They can also mail you the check. One thing you will need when you are ready to buy is a Buyers Order from the dealership. One dealership I dealt with gave me a bit of a hard time taking the check from Navy Federal for some reason. I think they were keen to sell me on one of their lenders. When I was 18 and in the military without a dime to my name Navy Federal was the only financial institution that would give me the time of day so they always get my business.

Is that 2.99% for Jan. 2021 ?
I am looking at 60/72 mos financing thru PFS w/ 15-20% down

@DanielL Are you Platinum Honors with BofA? I know they offer a .50% buy down if you are.

Regular non-preferred rates appear to be at 2.59% (here in Florida at least)

I'm only Platinum with BofA, but do plan to use them after my .35 buy down.

Thanks!
