Default Is it possible to scroll XM presets on wheel?

In my old Cayenne, I could use the steering wheel thumb wheel to scroll my presents and change stations. I test drove a Macan this weekend and noticed that it also had a list of presets on the dash display. Does this exist on the 992? Is there a submenu that turns that feature on? Really miss that feature.

Thanks,.

Hopefully someone has a better suggestion than mine. The best I've come up with so far is to place a large widget on my "Home" screen that contains all my "Favorites". That way I can "Finger Scroll" the badges/lines to select what I want from the "Home" screen. The other "issue" I have is the very limited maximum number of Favorites is rapidly consumed by whatever combination of FM Radio Stations and SiriusXM Stations you wish to keep on hand. Good Grief, my 8 year old Honda Goldwing as well as my 6 year old Harley Motorcycles both beat the "H" out of Porsche in this.

It was on the 991.1 cars but not on either 991.2 I ordered. Horrible backsliding. I complained up to PCNA level and got a big "so what?". Makes the MFSW much less worthwhile IMO.
Defies common sense to me.
Not "purist" enough? No idea.

Agreed, it’s difficult to change stations. For me, it’s pretty much set it the station that I want before leaving g the house. I hadn’t thought about setting widgets. That’s a great idea.

Have you tried voice commands? Works very well.

No, I haven’t done that either. I’ll give it a shot. I didn’t realize vice commands went that deep. I haven’t spent as much time in the car as I would like over the past six months. I took a long drive yesterday to the Blackwater National Park on the Chesapeake Bay yesterday and turned 3,000 mikes on it.

Truth be told, I am not listening much to to the radio anyway. I am still enamored by the exhaust note in this one - much improved over the 991.2.

Yes, voice commands work well to switch stations given that we can;'t use steering wheel controls. I use "play fm radio 88.5" and "play xm radio chill" to switch between my 2 favorites.

An excellent choice of stations IMHO! KQED was one of my favorites when I lived in the Bay Area.

Once you use voice, buttons become less important. Maybe that's why eliminated the scroll button?

@John Mclane

Have you seen any coding that would allow us to change the steering wheel skip buttons to INCLUDE station preset jumping? Like most others, I do not understand why Porsche skip only does one digit next on the station at a time rather than jumping favorite presets.

To the rest, I just use Spotify. Skip your own music how you like. = )

I have not seen it. I find it annoying as welll, I pretty much abandoned the car media. I find it way too distracting. Now I use CarPlay most of the time.
