Default 3 days in and pretty pink liquid on garage floor

Got my new 2021 C2 on Wednesday and absolutely loving it, Pulled it out of the garage to work on the rolling garage codes and found a pretty pink puddle staring up at me where L side of the engine sits. Looked up in the engine and saw some pink staining as well.
Called Porsche roadside and they are going to tow it to my dealer on Monday. Assuming that it is purely a coolant leak and the absence of fault codes likely means that the level is still adequate but will not take chances and so will toe to dealer

It was not one of the cars that sat at Port on either side of the Atlantic for very long in fact it was a week on both ends

Really hoping this does not bode poorly for future issues.

I am a little disappointed but understand that this is what warrantees are for and will hopefully not have any further issues going forward.

Good luck. This has been reported a few times. This was the most recent thread.

Yup but that was a 2020. At this point in the 2021's I would think that this issue has been resolved. Hopefully just a minor annoyance on the road to a long and happy ownership.

That’s a real shame. Hopefully there is a quick fix.

Hoping so as well although I am assuming that it is just a faulty connection/seal and that they will be able to start working on it as soon as it arrives tomorrow. I am hoping that after a simple fix it will be good as new. The coolant level still is adequate and the engine never overheated and so likely no damage to any other components. I am not the superstitious type and I am sure that once corrected it will remain bulletproof.

SO AN UPDATE

This morning the flat bed arrived at exactly the time that I had asked for it. 10 mins later I saw my beauty drive off.
Touched base with the service manager and my SA also called over to make sure that they expedite the process.

At noon I got a call from the service manager. They checked the system, checked pressures and did not find any leak. Based on the pattern of spill on the engine block they feel that when it was prepared that it was overfilled with coolant and that my first drive which was the first real drive the car went to operating temperature the excess must have spilled over. It does make sense because in retrospect based on where in the garage I parked the fluid spill was from my first drive, my next drive the next day did not yield any spill although it was after that drive that I discovered it with the garage empty so I could work on the rolling codes

Not bieng a mechanically inclined individual what they say does make sense based on the fact that there was no further spill on the second day, the pattern of run off down the engine and the fact that no low coolant lights came on.
I will however be checking before and after each drive for the next few weeks and am cautiously optomistic.

What I did find interesting was that they took care of a recall/camaign which is strange because why was a recall issue not corrected in the factory 4 weeks ago or during PPI and preparation. The campaign is WLK9 and I have no idea what it is and only saw it on the paperwork on arrival home.

Hope that’s it! Would be interesting to learn how the system relieves pressure or fluid.

Where is the overflow on one of these where it would burp out if it was overfilled?

That is a good question. I am hoping it would be designed in such a way so as to steer hot fluid away from sensitive components

Both the 997 and the 991 were designed to burp excess coolant. I made a mistake and overfilled my 981 and found a pink surprise on my garage floor after a "spirited" drive. I'm sure the 992 has something similar
