Did anyone who was scheduled to start production (step 4) on 3/3/23 see any movement today or over the weekend? Still showing to be on step 3 (starting soon) even though i was scheduled to move into step 4 last Friday 3/3. Thanks
My Car was scheduled to complete production on last Friday 3/3... today TYD updated and instead of confirming production completed now TYD has extended by production completed date by 10 days to 3/14. Also pushed out deliver to dealer another 10 days. What is odd to me I got the 4 pictures of the car with one looking completed a week ago. Maybe in testing some issue came up.
Update: TYD just updated again (twice in one day) and now car has completed production 3/6 and back onto original schedule with delivery only pushed out 2 days to 4/6
My car completed on 2/22 and has been sitting at port in Emden ever since. Now today I have an updated date of 3/14 of when it will leave port (originally was supp to be on 2/23 ) and my arrival date has now been pushed back to 4/9 .

Nice to see that your TYD is updating... This is what mine has looked like for over a month at this point, and even though I was supposed to start production on Friday with a number of others on this thread, I still have received no update if that was actually the case and no update that it has been pushed out if not.
Final final build submitted. Stripper with a decent interior.
Black, MT, slick top, rear seat delete, RAS delete, large tank.
Leather with silver stitching, silver belts, and white dials. Likely a unique interior for a T.
I will be lowering the car, adding silver wheels with custom offsets, GT3 skirts, and painting the front lip, rear diffuser, and skirts in gloss black. Will also likely delete the sticker.
My TYD updated this morning and my freeze (step 2) date was moved up to 3/3/23 from 3/6/23. I am glad I confirmed my build with my SA on Friday. My delivery also moved up from 5/12/23 to 5/2/23. I shall see if the delivery date holds true with all the delays I have been reading on this thread.
Anyway, thanks for all the reading material as I have read through all the posts which has caused me to go back and forth with my configuration. Thankfully (I hope) with my lock complete I can now get back to a normal life (as if that is going to happen as I will now labor over changes in build and delivery schedules).
My wife will be happy when my car arrives as she will no longer have to hear about what do you think about this configuration or listen to me griping about date changes.

Really like this build! Well done! That will be unique and gorgeous.

Thank you. I'm super happy with it after going back and forth with RAS and interior choices. It's definitely perfect for my taste and needs and it's place in my garage.

just out of curiousity , those of you that are submitting "stripper" builds , are the dealers giving any pushback about the build and lack of options ? most dealers try to persuade buyers away from lightly optioned builds and recommend some options that add resale value

Mine did but I politely declined all except the blind spot monitoring system.

Not really. My dealer specifically mentioned they don't do ADM's, so maybe that's part of it. My SA did point out that I had no sunroof and no PDLS+, but aside from mentioning it, there was no pushback.
Thank you! A bit of a departure with all the bright colors. I was almost swayed to go Python or Speed but I like what I ended up with.

Not me. I think that's part of the upsell pitch. If you look at the cost of options, this is where Porsche makes much of their money, so they encourage it. $3,700 for a different color thread on the stitching? $800 for different color dials? $600 for different color belts? All of these should be zero cost options if you think about it. Race tex headliner was free in the 991.2. Now it's $1,500. No logical person would pay this money just for a different color but Porsche knows no logical person would skip these details that elevate the six figure car you're buying so they ask whatever number they want and fools like me gladly pay for it. The interior on my "stripper" is just shy of $11k. It's just color and a few more strips of leather. Stupid. And stupid not to since I'm designing the space I want to live in.
Build the car you want. I initially gave myself a challenge of keeping the car under $120k and at one point had only $1900 in options. Fun exercise that forced me to look at what it is I truly want and need. Great way to avoid spending $20 or $30k unnecessarily. I find there's an inverse correlation between the amount people spend on options and the coolness of the car.
