Not bloated at all. I like that config.

My config is a bit more than yours 😀. April delivery for mine.

Nice, congratulations! I've always wanted a 911 but have never committed - until last week. I'd been checking my local dealer's website daily for a couple weeks until I noticed an incoming 911T manual. Called them up immediately, confirmed it was available, and paid the deposit. Anticipated delivery is 12/28/23. Not exactly spec'd the way I'd have done it -- has RS Spyder wheels and 18 way seats, neither of which I particularly need or want -- but otherwise great.

This seems particularly insane because I just took delivery of a 2023 BMW M2 (G87) in July and have been very tepid about it since. I preferred my 2021 M2C (F87) (manual) much more. The new M2 feels its weight and it's just...sterile. The tech/electronics are a bit much, and the materials -- though nice -- seem a little faux luxury. Objectively speaking its a very nice car, but I'm just not into it.

The only thing the 911T lacks that I would've spec'd is the FAL -- I'm sweating that a little bit. This will be my daily with a 4 y/o son (who will love it!) and getting him in and out will be a daily pain in the ***. Really just looking for someone to validate my judgment -- and assure me that my only regret will be not having snagged a 911 sooner.

You will love your car so much more than the BMW you have no idea. A real sportscar. 300kg less weight. You will understand it all soon.

No need for FAL in FL as you can see all sides of the State if you stand on your roof here; minimal dips and ducks. We do go to NC and I'm excited to road trip mine there in the Spring, and there are some greater curbs and cuts there, but nothing I'm too concerned about. You'll probably be OK without FAL if you accept the "under spoiler" is a consumable!

Your kid is going to love it (as will you). When mine were both younger than they are today, I folded them into the back of an i8 I picked up on Swap-a-lease for nearly 1/2 what they were leasing new for... to this day, it's the car ("Spaceship!") they both still talk about the most, and it's been over 5 years since she departed. Lots of "folding" of them was required, yet never a complaint. Strangely enough, they're both excited for the 911 to arrive next month even though they're much older. When the kids are little, they don't really care about how much room there is, but about the experience. The 911 should deliver that for your son is my bet. Enjoy in health and happiness!

Thanks so much -- really what I wanted to hear. I'm very much looking forward to sharing this experience with my boy. If my dad could've have afforded to do the same with me, he would have. I wish he was around to see it.

Been following for months now whilst I waited for my T allocation (after I put a deposit down in January) - not really expecting it to materialise and thinking I'd missed the boat.

Fast forward to August this year and I got my allocation, spec locked in October, got a phone call last week saying it was in build and this week it was on a boat... which subsequently I think docked at Sheerness today!

To top it off, the pics appeared today and it appears I've lucked out with Michelins too!

Quite a simple spec... Shark Blue, manual, slate grey T interior, rear seats, folding mirrors, PDLS+, surround camera, Bose (and a couple of smaller options), it's my first new car, first 911 and first Porsche for that matter, the plan was always for it to be a long term (dare I say it - maybe permanent) keeper. The only downside is I've had to get rid of my 2015 LR Defender 90 which just wont get driven now. Bursting with excitement is an understatement.

Wow - that looks incredible. How did you get pics of it in the build process? Mine is showing the "manufacturing process...is starting soon."

Great colour for a T and very well chosen options. You will love it even more than your high expectations.

Congrats! Looks like mine (U.S. spec), BUT you won the tire lottery! I got the P zeros and mine it still sitting idle (delayed) in Zuffenhausen.

Is there a way to reply and quote on Rennlist without showing their images again?

Anyway, Dan G above wonders if the lovely T will be a permanent addition to his garage.

I think lots of us should be asking that question, because ‘our era’ is ending.

ICE only, manual box, low weight, not an oversized smart phone ?
Soon these things will become unobtainable.

From next year in the UK the percentage of ICE cars a manufacturer can sell in the UK ticks down each year until it becomes zero in 2030.

Hug your T close.

Ditto. Good choice. Recently met a guy that bought the $300K gold Exclusive 911 Turbo S. He asked me to unlock my T so he could get a good look at the Sport-Tex seats….complimented them.

Woohoo! According to TYD, my T has reached a new milestone (03), and now has a VIN. Manufacture will be starting soon.

What a privilege................ For those who received assembly photos, how does that work? Thank you.

Visors are vinyl. I did Alcantara visors on my 991.2t. Completely unnecessary but really happy with them. I wasn't going to upgrade the headliner in the 992 so I left the visors. Haven't thought about in once.

This link is my critique, I love the spec!
you did a fantastic job!
The only things I would change;
Locking wheel bolts.
Cooled leather seats. (Full leather seats, and cooling which is nice)
Preparation for the roof transport system, it's 60 dollars and worth it just in case.
spec'd the smoking package because it is free.
You should not get the race-lined roof.
Nor the race tex sun visors.
You are paying for the leather package to then pay even more to change the leather sun visors to race tex.
The standard liner I think is just as good as the race tex. You will not miss having a race tex lined roof.
also the fire extinguisher for fun!!

@Dan-G Hi @Devon Racer here how did you get your pics. My car is due to leave Sheerness tomorrow now and be at my dealers on Saturday afternoon.
Where did your pics appear? My car was manufactured between the 20th October and was completed by the 25th October and entered Emden 2 days later. It has been at Sheerness since the 9th November.
My app has just moved onto phase 4 today "An exclusive preview of your vehicle " Where the pics emailed to you?
Where are you based if your willing to divulge?
You will be so pleased when you take delivery I am sure we will not be disappointed. I am praying also for Michelins too my last car was on them.
Best Devon Racer.
