GLOSS! Ive rocked both. Gloss looks cleaner when clean. But it also looks brownish when dirty. Matte looks more track star and hides the dust better. But I dont think it looks as nice as gloss on a Porsche. Now in my BMW M3, I would get SATIN. lol. But gloss looks dam good on 911's

Gloss. Satin black is a nightmare. Never looks clean.

I ordered my chalk with satin because the front bumper, standard side skirts and rear bumper are in black plastic satin look finish. Gloss black would go if the car had the high gloss aero kit then yes gloss finish. but otherwise satin finish is the right choice in my opinion.
If you go with high gloss, nothing will match.

Again this is my opinion.
Thanks

I say satin. I think the dust shows way less and once gloss gets dirty, it looks like brown satin. I had gloss on previous cars and it was hard to clean once caked up.

here’s a photo of satin on my chalk. And satin on my newly delivered 992 but gt silver. I just love the way satin black looks. Better irl.

Agree have satin black aftermarket wheels on my Audi RS5 and look great when clean but dusky when dirty and holds brake dust a bit more than gloss black it seems. I got RS Sypder wheels on my car however as just alot of black on white/gray/red/yellow contrasts cars vs wheels out there. Can't go wrong either way I guess.

I’m not a huge fan of black wheels or the trend to black wheels. Seems like they belong on a lifted Jeep, not a 911, but whatever. To each their own. I’ve had both satin and gloss black wheels on 911s and if anything, gloss looked better to me and is the way to go. I prefer satin platinum or dark grey gloss color. The Carrera Classics look the cleanest to me.

My Wife's Macan S is in Chalk and has the Gloss Black / Machined wheels - I personally like a little silver on the wheels instead of all black.

I chose satin in my build but I’m still unsure if I should switch to gloss as well. Mines a CWM.

Anyone have good photos with either the satin or gloss or jet black?
