I'd rather a fuse box CARPET cover to match.

Surprised they won’t do the headliner in leather. Ferrari will.

I ordered this on my turbo S spec, expecting the mirror casing to be wrapped in leather, but apparently not... super disappointed. I reached out to the dealer to make sure they didn't screw up the config, but if they didn't I would say this option seems to be a waste

I'm in the leather business. This spring when it warms up, I am going to take a scrap piece of hide and glue it to that fusebox cover to show you guys that you can do this for about $ 40 in material. Gluing leather to a panel is not rocket science.

I've never even noticed there is a panel there...haha...of course I have two tone red/black so it blends pretty well.

Lol. You beat me to it. Nice job! And why would anyone pay Porsche $ 390 to do that?

I am going to be the rectum here and just say that this thread is weak sauce.

Back in the 90s full leather interiors by Porsche were works of art by Exclusive.

Old guys like me will remember the sub-article that accompanied this Car and Driver story:
https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews...mparison-test/

30k for leather was not uncommon. When I was a kid a neighbor had Exclusive build a purple on purple America Roadster. It was all monotone color matched. Just a tasty piece of grape candy

Yeah I see the mirror panel, can't say for sure, but maybe it is black with black stitching, I can understand how that may be disappointing if it just blends in with the remaining black ceiling. I like the idea though of reducing visible plastic and seeing additional deviated stitching.
