I too, like the amber lights with Aventurine Green. It gives things a little color and doesn’t look out of place — it goes well with the green. I also have colored wheel center caps for both sets of wheels, because I prefer things not being monochromatic.

Question on the clears. I have them and ready to be installed but for love or money I cannot get the amber ones out. I read the thread on getting them out but am wondering if there has been a change since 2020 as they do not want to budge - any help would be appreciated

I’ve been advised to get the clears but I kept the ambers because I actually like how they look. My car is guards red and I think that the amber works better with a bright color like that.

If I had a white, black, gray, or dark blue car I would definitely go with clears

I struggled a bit at first, but it's all about grip. The Suncoast video is accurate, you can even see him struggle a bit. Put on rubber gloves if you need to. Grip is king.

They are difficult as I mentioned above. I used a trim pry tool. So you push the light toward the wheel, insert the trim tool at the front end of the lamp tip and pry the front end out. With the electric connection clip, make sure you push one end to raise the clip lock before trying to pull the connectors apart or you will break it.

I think the ambers are slightly out of spec. The clear ones popped right in.

Agate Grey. Clears on order after seeing a friend’s Black 992 in clear. He changed using duct tape to help pull them out.

I changed my 2021 992 Ambers out yesterday, takes 45 seconds per side, I kid you not. If you are having trouble, it's your technique, not the lights. You don't need tape, you don't need a plastic pry bar, just grab on the end (by the wheel) and give a good pull, they pop right out.

Good that yours was easy. Mine might have been stuck a little from the PPF, but definitely required a trim puller. The change out on my 991.2 was as you described, but not this time, sorry.

@drcollie Did you pull towards the wheel as in 0 degrees, towards you as in 90 degrees, or a combination of both as in 45 degrees ? Looking at the replacement I am thinking 0 degrees to compress the spring and then 90 degrees to pull the clip out the holder. Just hesitant to break anything
