Default Amber Marker Lamps on AG 992

After four months I finally received my registration from the bozos at my dealership. Although I bought the clear markers, I left the amber ones on in case I had to go get it inspected for DE. They didn’t like the clear markers on my 991.2. So, now that the amber markers have been on it for four months, I am wondering if I should switch them out. They look okay with AG. What have other AG owners done?

I think it is a really easy fix and so try it and see what you think. Personally. I prefer the clear ones and have a set coming to me as well but I never thought the orange was that bad to start with..

Yeah, I might put them on and decide.

Not an AG owner, but my son is 😋

I would go clears & keep the ambers for DE days.

They don’t look out of place, kind of match the hood emblem and wheel centers.

I had that thought. Aventurine Green is so close to Agate Gray that I thought the amber might pull the green tones and the silver pull the gray tones.

I also have adventurine green and purchased the clear marker lights but have left the amber ones in. They do not seem out of place to me on this color.

I think AG is one of the few colors where they look nice. Better than the clears IMHO.

I also stayed with the amber lights. I think the contrast looks good with the AG.

I have clear ones on my GR car, but the orange looks good with AG I think.

I finally decided to add the side markers that I purchased in July. The amber ones were a bit difficult to get off, as if the fit was just a little too tight. The clear markers fit perfectly. So in brief, I see now that the amber lamps are quite flat whereas the clear have a 3D appearance. The chrome highlights in the lamp match the matrix headlamps. Hands-down, this is an integrated design and elevates the appearance for me.
