Default So who's doing this first?

So who's going to ask all the aftermarket shops to manufacture a retrofit gearshift for their 992 PDK to match the one in the 992 GT3?

I would love that ! But you know it won't be available for years due to proprietary issues.

According to Prunniger the shifter for the 7 speed PDK wont work with the 8 speed PDK. EG its more than styling.

Heard that to but surely the ‘shift’ is electronic on a PDK?

Right.

It would just be a cosmetic swap. Like swapping wood for carbon interior.

Look at how the "Braun Shaver" OEM PDK Lever is attached. This is certainly NOT rocket science. It's basically a fancy Toggle Switch Lever held in with a set/locking screw. I have got to believe that it's just a matter of time before someone comes up with a suitable replacement.

Id be cautious about putting a larger lever on there. They probably made the little dingus thingy so short so you could only put a certain amount of torque on the hinge. Longer lever = more torque = might break plastic. Neat mod idea though. Got me thinking.
