Still in port processing this morning. I drove thru the dealership late last night to see if there was any magic happening.... nope. A few new cars with travel coverings there but not mine.
TYD shows my C2S arrived today at Emden, four days early. TYD say 18 more days before on ship. I wonder if there is any chance that it gets on a JAX bound ship earlier?

I am in a similar situation. Car got to Emden on Friday and right now I am scheduled as getting on the 12/18 ship but I do think that there is a fairly reasonable chance that the car will be put on the 12/3 ship to Davisville and then onto JAX. If not I am hoping that I will be able to get on the ship on the 5th (My baby is going to Davisville and so there are two ships I could be on prior to the one on the 18th)
You need to be on the dock by 4pm two work days prior to departure and so it looks like you might have just made it if there is space.
Good luck to us both. I guess you will find out on or after the 3rd when your TYD updates. So far my TYD has been very good at updating AFTER the event.
Also you should be able to check with your SA on the 4th or 5th

This may dampen your catch earlier ship thoughts...as my C2S Cab arrived Emden 7 days early on 11/20 and is still sitting there...TYD says estimated On Vessel date is 12/11.

Not at all, I realize that that is the case but based on anecdotal evidence on the boards as well as my SA's experience there is a better than even chance that I will make one of the two ships prior to the 18th. Truth be told if it arrives early I can't pick up for the first week in any case and so in effect there is a weeks difference between getting the early ship and the scheduled ship AND that assumes CARB has been resolved. If it has not then it is totally academic whether it sits in Emden or Davisville. I will however let you all know what happens.
