Default Daily driver C4 build

Pretty barebones Northern US climate so going with smaller wheels and rear wiper.

Love the quad exhaust look and gentian blue is incredible, but also considering white. Thoughts?

Looks nice. But why the power folding mirrors? I spent a decade one year in the Detroit area. In a northern climate, I'd want heated seats. Couldn't see how that could be added but maybe a dealer has an insight to this that I couldn't find.

If it’s a 365-day-a-year car in northern state that sees snow, might want to consider adding PTV+ as a stand-alone option. With AWD you’ll get through most anything, but the LSD will add an extra measure of winter capability, while also making it a bit more dialed in on twisty roads in the summer.

I used my heated steering wheel for the first time today (all Canadian cars get it standard) and was pleasantly surprised how nice it was. With you on LCA as well...very nice to have on a DD.

Beautiful build, I made a drivers car and it is very very similar.

I went with a C2 as I use it almost daily but not in the actual snow. For the snow I have another car and will take the C2 out a few days after the snow and so I opted out of the C2S
I went for the PSE as like youI did not love the C2 exhausts and I knew I would have to at the very least change the tips and so for $2K extra I opted for the full PSE
I also went with SC. Do I need it, I really regretted not getting it in my Boxster and I do think that it offers more than just launch control. I also think I will land up using Sports plus at least 20-30% of the time.
I am the only driver and I loved the Sports seats plus in my boxster and so I went with the 4 way SSP
I went with the 20/21 wheels as I intend to get a wheel and tire package which will be 19/20 and so opted for the larger wheels for the summer. Are you going to swap tires or get a separate package. Continuously swapping tires besides pricey in its own right can also damage both wheels and tires
Personally I do not think you need PTV. The C4 should be more than enough in snow and unless you are pushing hard in the summer and winter I am not sure you will see a major benefit for PTV

My build closed 23 hours ago and will be made in two weeks

Also added the extended fuel tank. With my sporty driving filling up my boxster every 200-225 miles got old quickly I am sure that it will be the same for my 911

Nice daily drive built. Folding side mirror will be very helpful when you have a tight garage like I do. I wish my 992 has but it wasn’t a deal breaker for me.

The single (white) color ambient light isn’t worth buying imo. Personally I like the 19/20 wheel style quite a bit as well.

My buddy has a similar built except he’s got C2 and white car. Looking forward to seeing yours.

you said bare bones, I got nothing. But some temptations:

leather interior instead of standard interior. Fond of the w/ stitching options
Bose audio
Porsche torque vectoring

really you can’t go wrong. Remember to budget for winter tires. Way more important than AWD.

Personally I hate white in Northern winters. Wet road crap makes it instantly look ghetto dirty. Of course other people hate having dust and other light dirt on dark blue so there’s no real winning against entropy

This 100%. It's very clear that some people aren't budgeting for winter tires. Set aside about $4k for a winter set whether you put together your own or buy as a set from Porsche.

Great input. Thanks!

I think you’re right about sport chrono. Having sport+ mode along with steering wheel controls is probably worth it.

If you are in the US and are going to get SC and also the Sports Exhaust, then PTV+ is almost free if you get the Sport Package as the extra cost for the package is really minimal for all 3 options together.
