You can setup your Porsche ID account yourself, but still need a connect code for your car. Are you missing the connect code for your car? The process to setup a Porsche ID account is:
  1. Create a Porsche ID account by going to https://connect-store.porsche.com/gb...ountrySelector, select your country, press the Login button at the top-right, click the register link.
  2. Go back to the first screen and now you can "Log in with Porsche ID". This site just sells you Connect services but a new car should have an initial subscription included. If you have a car from a different country then I don't know what the process is, sorry.
  3. Next install the Porsche Connect app on your phone. Info on the app is at: https://www.porsche.com/countries/connect/?cslang=en. US instructions are at: https://www.porsche.com/usa/connect/
  4. You next need a pairing code per the following instructions. Sorry, I don't know how to help you with this if you can't get a response from your dealership.
    • If you have purchased your Porsche from a dealer, you will automatically receive an e-mail with your Porsche ID and the appropriate registration link for My Porsche.
If you did not receive a registration e-mail, please contact your authorized Porsche dealer or call 1-800-PORSCHE.
  5. Once you have a pairing code then you can connect the app and car per these instructions from the manual:

Thank you for sharing the above mickey94025, the only remaining is the connect code. I have submitted my documents to Porsche France, but since car is out of Europe they are not responding back. I am not sure how to push the, to share this code and let me connect to my car.

At least in USA, the connect code is displayed in MY PORSCHE after you do the set-up on your computer.

Hi Mathis7,

So two things are missing, the connect code and the sync code right ?
regarding the connect code where does it show on the portal?
after registration on he portal, I sent all required documents (car registration and proof of ownership) but still no feedback.

To see your connect paring code, do the following.

1.0 Go to porsche.com and select your region/country
2.0 In upper right hand corner there is drop down menu symbol. Select MY PORSCHE
3.0 From selection in upper bar - Select - My Vehicle
4.0 In upper left you will see your VIN number and under it - MY PARING CODE

This assumes that you have registered your Porsche in MY PORSCHE.

Have had my 992 for a week. Did all the set up and have checked everything like 50 times, yet the app always says what the car is not connected to the network or deactivated. Dealer says the “servers are being updated in Germany and that it’s not just me.”

Anyone else having the same issues??

Just checked-my connection from Oregon is fully in order. 8 AM PST. Check settings in APP and verify that all turned ON.

I set this up once and never used it. It probably doesn't work any more.

Meh, who cares.

Just checked mine (2020 992 C4S) at 11:37am eastern, works fine..

Found I need to inflate my right tire by 2 PSI to match the other one :-) About the only thing I found useful thus far, so I wouldn't worry much about it - if you cannot get it to work.

Outside of tire pressure and if your car is locked and windows and doors closed, that is all that is potentially useful. But still no so much.

My connection to server also shows green from 911 to Porsche Server. Are you sure your SIM card is working?

Your dealer should've done something so you receive an email like this from connect@porsche.us. Login to https://connect-store.porsche.com/us/en/ and check that your VIN and services show up for it.
We received your order

Dear XXX,

We have received your order with the order no.: YYY and will now check activation of your services.

Further details on the services are available in the Porsche Connect Store.

Please note that the time required to activate your services can be affected by external factors (e.g. areas with limited connectivity such as parking garages).

After two weeks of trying, was finally able to pair my Porsche ID with my car, so that's nice.

OK, so after reading a bit and trying a bunch of stuff, I still get nothing different. It does show my porsche id, my name, that is activated, no private mode. But in the Porsche connect section, while it shows me as a "configured My Porsche user, it shows the "Rem. acc. authorization" area shaded. When I click on it, it says there is no authorized user set up.

I am still lost as to why it doesn't show me as authorized to manage the porsche connect services.

Any ideas????

It appears to be a setting issue. Have the dealer check it out. Have experienced no Porsche server connect issues in a long time. Another thought - you might delete registration and re-register?
