We have already scanned the running light enclosures and will be hiding them in that region for another customer, you will give up 2" of DRL on the inside of the light but it would be mounted inside the lense itself so....Pretty invisible. The center TX sensor would be swapped out for an RX sensor (can sit lower on the car) and stealthed into the plastics under the center painted section. The radar head would tuck by the rearview mirror as we have developed a larger OEM enclosure for the sensors Porsche already has there allowing us to stealth Cameras and Radar in that location. This setup would actually be idea as the Radar would be higher up maximizing the range.

How can this contraption possibly be cost-effective compared to just paying for a speeding ticket now and then?

great install! I have the same system in my Panamera, 3 AL sensors in the front, 2 in the back, dual radar. Going to move it the my 992 when it delivers, can you PM me a quote, I'm in Arlington. Thx!

Somewhat off topic.
Western Virginia speed traps put Florida's small-town speed traps to shame. The Virginia speed traps are also set up to catch non-local drivers. I used to drive from Maryland to Charlottesville, VA on a monthly basis. Cops were in regular hiding posits alone the route. If you were a local, or a frequent traveler of the route, you learned the spots. If you were not familiar with the speed trap locations county roads (15 and 29 in particular), you would assume that exceeding the speed limit was a non issue until you got pulled over.

I recall an automotive journalist had to spend a weekend in jail and became a convicted felon bc of a speeding ticket in Virginia. And it wasn't terribly above the limit.
Laser jamming is illegal in some states, but detection is allowed as the radar detector AFAIK (no VA DC). The problem is laser detection is typically too late. Also, as I mentioned, cops can get you a ticket based on their visual calculation of speed. Laser jammers give an error on their gun which by itself may yield a stop.
I try to go with the flow and not stick out from the crowd. Speeding by yourself makes it easy for the cops. I had to spend 1500 for a potential class B misdemeanor to be turned into petty speeding with no points or blemish in my drivers record.
Now, let's go back to topic and this awesome installation.

I've been pulled over twice last few years - once in my (then new) F10 M5, in MD. Got the same nice car, be careful , and once in my 17 991.2 GTS, this time in Arlington, VA. The cop was much more stern, but also sent me on my way with a .

Drive with the flow of traffic.
Save the speeding for the track.
