Technical HELP needed! WiFi and Other Connectivity in 992s
Does anyone know how and where the WiFi network is generated by our cars? How about other connectivity? Are there separate stations/antennas in charge of these things and/or what part is being handled by the PCM unit itself? Where are these devices / parts located in the car?
I'm trying to understand what can be done if the car's WiFi connectivity is broken to some extent. I had the PCM unit already exchanged but it didn't help. Most of this relates to wireless use of CarPlay and utilization of Track Precision App to its full potential, for instance.
I am very sorry if these are too basic questions (partially intentionally) to someone but since there is not a lot of publicly available information or material concerning our cars (nor any exploded-view drawings as far as I'm aware), it's very difficult to deduce where a problem may be. It would be awesome if someone here knew more about these things and could share their wisdom!
