Door 'dribble'
Has anyone else noticed this on their new 992? Looks like some sort of excess lubricant dribbling out, it keeps appearing within 1-2 days of a wash. Wipes off easily enough and oddly we have a '14 Beetle which did the same thing when it was new so I'm wondering if its some sort of VAG build thing.
Thanks
Thanks

maybe but it happens on both sides and the washer bottle in the beetle is at the front of the engine bay. I’m wondering if its excess lubricant applied to the door hinges during manufacture.

I disagree on the cavity wax. Its only after a car wash. If it was cavity wax, you'd see it anytime NOT just after a car wash. And that stuff is thick like.
The car wash water (typically special clear drying water) leaked out from the hood area once you drove it off, dried clear and then dust hit it.
