Default Additional wheel option on the way?

The US configurator has what appears to be a placeholder for a new wheel option for the Carrera and Carrera S. It looks like the Turbo wheel will be available for about $4000 on the base and $2800 on the S. Under wheel options right now, there's just an additional box with a red x. But if you hover over the box, the description and price are shown, so it looks like the configurator is being prepped. It's a nice but pricey addition imo.

You can actually click on it an dwill load into the configurator.

Wouldn't want to have to clean those. I have that style on my M3, hate cleaning them.

Is it me, or do those look like they belong on a luxo cruiser, like an A8 or a 7 Series? To my eye, they're very busy, and just don't get along with a sports or GT car, let alone a Turbo.

I think they're loading with some models but not with others.

Not just you. There's just something wrong with the way those wheels look on a 911 imo.

With the implementation of the Turbo wheel on the configurator, maybe we can hope Shark Blue is around the corner.

Personally, I prefer my RS Spyder wheels.
