Default Car on its way to CT dealer from Davisville

Just FYI - dealer in CT received shipping notification this morning, suggesting arrival this pm or tomorrow morning.
TYD also shows en route (as of 12/4!).
Car arrived Davisville 11/20.

Sat in San Diego for over 3 months...This morning it is being enclosed trailered back to San Diego for Crystalline Window Tint & Expel Film as our dealers installer is located there. Our SM advised us, Porsche was picking up the PSMP+2. Also, they (dealer) replaced the yellow front clearance lights & picking up the cost of the Crystalline Window Tint. Just a few more days to wait...

Default arrival at dealer

A picture from my SA - it made it to the dealer today and is 1st in line for PDI. Its dirty but hopefully all is well. Also, I had him snap a picture of the odometer at 7.9 miles as I want no one driving more than about another 1/10th of a mile. This better live up to my C2S MT expectations as 2+ months of sitting at the port of Houston really has bummed me out!

Glad to see the flurry of 2021s arriving from port. Anyone waiting on COs/MSOs? How quickly are you getting these registered? Only ask because I'm in MA and the MSO isnt in yet and we don;t have temporary tags so I can't take it until it's registered.

That seems rather strange. No MSO and the car was released to the dealer? FWIW, that really doesn't sound right to me.

MSOs are mailed separately from the vehicles. They typically would show up the day before or the day after the cars arrive at the dealer. I'm almost a week since my car came in and now MSO. WTF.

True.

Also True, but almost never after unless someone at Porsche screwed up or (more likely) someone at the dealership didn't/doesn't fully appreciate the seriousness of the document and now they can't find it.

IMHO, with as long as these cars have been sitting in the ports the dealer should have received the MSO a long time ago. If not, certainly more than enough time to find out why not.

Interesting, when I had to wait 10 days for my MSO from Rusnak in LA, I’d just assumed it was isolated and attributable to more Rusnak incompetence combined with my virtually non-English speaking SA. What car dealer doesn’t have MSO-s for a car that in this case was in stock for a month. I’m taken aback that it’s a more widespread phenomenon.
