Definitely get the noise insulated glass. Looking forward to getting mine when it's released from EPA purgatory. Also, check the extended range fuel tank for $270. If you do any extended driving, it saves on fill ups and as electric car mania takes over, gas stations will become scarce.

No they won’t, not in our lifetimes.

And certainly not in this vehicle's lifetime.

I did order the extended range tank though

Maybe your not familiar with California/Democrat government but they like to legislate what you drive. Europe has already banned ICE cars in 2030 and it's not out of the question for California to do the same, then legislate gas stations making it harder to get gas or they just go out of business as they become unprofitable. It's already happening. Democrats proposed banning fossil fuel vehicles by 2040 in the US. These are crazy times. The second force is technology. As battery costs continue to decline, automotive OEMs are investing heavily in EVs. By 2030, more than a third of all new vehicles sold will be fully or partly electric. This development poses a major threat to fuel retailers, particularly those that operate numerous stations where fuel purchases account for a significant share of profits.

Other alternative fuels are also beginning to gain ground in some markets. For example, automakers such as Toyota are investing in developing hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. Meanwhile, in other parts of the world, a sizable proportion of vehicles already run on alter*native fuels such as liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and compressed natural gas (CNG), and biofuels are increasing their share in the gasoline and diesel pools. Vehicles that use an alternative fuel such as LPG or CNG still require refueling through a traditional fuel retail location—unlike EVs, which users may charge at home, at work, or in parking lots, and which therefore pose a substitution threat to service stations.

You might want to consider also the Slate Gray/Chalk Interior. It looks really nice on a Night Blue 992 and has also some classic vibe in it, particularly so when combined with the Paldao wood trim. Check out also these Exclusive Rims in Black, not bad at all.

I used to own a 2004 BMW Z4 akin to the same theme, with a rare Individual Maritime packet. It was a combination of Night Blue exterior with Champagne interior (close to Porsche's Beige) and a wooden "boat deck" trim made of Mahogany (plus some other maritime extras like compasses embroidered in the carpets). It looked really cool (pictures from Google as I couldn't find my own old pics for now...) and I absolutely adored it!

I got the Bose and Paldao wood trim on my GT Silver C2S. I’ve been very happy with both choices.
(Also live in the LA area.)

One of the intriguing 992 options, I thought when I saw it on the configurator, was the nose-lift ! First time ever, as in the past this was useful
to GT3 et RS only. So, I ignored it... and I am sorry I did, now ! The 992 S sports chassis is very low, and probably has a longer front overhang,
but it scrapes ever so easily !!! My previous was a 991 Turbo S and it scraped less! So, guys, nose-lift is a must-have...!!

September 2019: old meets new... !

Gorgeous.

I’m glad that car’s in Europe (Finland ?). If it was in the U.S, I’d be sorely tempted to do something impulsive and expensive.

The Turbos should scrap less in the 992 generation too. When the front spoiler is retracted, the front clearance higher than the standard car.

Close enough, it's in Sweden. :-) But I do agree that it's one of the nicest combinations and thus hard to resist. All the colours and trim just kind of melt together in a very smooth way.

My must have options:

C2S or C4S Coupe (preferably 2S)
Full leather interior
Bose
glass sunroof
sport package with manual transmission
Lane Change Assist

My added options:

18 way adaptive seats
Carrera Classic Wheels
Premium Package (PDLS, heated/cooled seats, LCA) couldn’t care about folding mirrors but whatever
GT Steering Wheel
Cabin Filter
extended 23 gallon fuel tank

basically this build; PMPGZTS4

Interesting comment on the Mojave looking a bit yellow / fake. Definitely need to go and see it in person. If I could push beyond $110k I think I would go for the Iceland Green interior - in person it's more of a cream and looks lovely. Basically the same as the Ivory interior on our RR but it's like $4k+!

Does the Extended range change the amount of space in the frunk?

No. The fuel tank just takes over the space occupied by the front diff in the AWD models. This is the reason why the extended tank isn’t available on AWD models.

When I specced my car in November 2019, the big tank was the only option I wanted!

It wasn't available then, I remember it was less than £100.

Never mind, I still often get 400 miles out of a standard tank, I wasn't expecting 35mpg.
