Default How green is island green interior?

I have looked at all the pictures on the net and it really does not look like green to me, I am hoping not as I have just ordered it on my 992.
Unfortunately I am unable to find a car anywhere to look at and now by build is locked, I am hoping I have not made a real error. I love the contrast of the black dash and steering wheel for practical purposes, the slate was just too light for me. I am hoping its a more cream colour than green, and will work well with the 930 interior leather option.

Can anyone put my mind at rest?

Your dealer has leather samples. You could go see for yourself there. I remember that it was a nice light green - very good looking. What color is your exterior?

I asked the dealer for a sample but they don't have any of that leather! He send me a video of a customers car but its not the same as looking at it with your own eyes.
I chose the Aventurine Green exterior, I see a few people have chosen then combination so I hope I am in good company.

I've seen it in person...looked cream to me with a touch of green. Would work well with Aventurine.

I have Aventurine green wit the black/Island green interior. Really like it. It is light and definitely light green. Here is photo that seems to show it true to actual look. Myybe a little lighter on the console photo but truer on close up of dash trim. The combo with black is nice. With most car interiors black or grey, it is unusual these day to get color coordinated interior.

Thanks folks, having opinions from folks that have seen it and live with it really helps.
@mathus7 How do you find the quality of the leather, did you need to protect it from dye transfer?

As several have reported in various threads Porsche leather is above average but not there with the best. I also own a 2013 911 C2S with a sand beige leather interior and have experienced no problems with dye transfer from jeans so long as you clean it off quickly. Would not recommend wearing brand new indigo jeans, however. Cleans rather easily with a leather cleaner. Usually only occurs on very hot days. My seats in the 20,000 mi 7+ year old car look like new. I treat the leather with a leather conditioner about once per year avoiding leather treatments that look shiny. Very pleased with both light interiors as they give the 911 a more open feeling than all black or slate.

Get a different dealer or tell them you're going to unless they show you a sample in the next week.

If you find my thread about going from Atlanta to Alaska there are several shots of the iceland green interior with a miami blue exterior. The leather looks almost like a creme color and only really gives off a hint of green at dusk. I really enjoy it but it does require some extra effort to keep looking clean over a darker color of leather.

Green speaks to development and reestablishment. You partner the shading with verdant fields, delectable leaves and different endowments of nature, so it loans a quieting feel to a room. Green comes in numerous shades, so you can make different mind-sets and utilize its adaptability to combine it with a scope of different hues click here for more information.

"Green has been my preferred shading for as long as I can remember," says inside planner Shannon Kaye. "You can adorn a whole live with greens and have differentiate, show, extravagance and parity. It's so flexible. Celery green looks light and breezy in a kitchen, fresh and clean in a restroom, and unwinding and warm in a lounge room."

Island green reminds me of the inside "white" portion of the flesh of an avocado.
