Question Musicar Tweeter Upgrade from 991

Anyone know if the 991 Stage 1 tweeter component will fit in the 992 cars?

Of course I emailed Nick first off, but while waiting for a reply thought I'd canvas for any first hand experience from 992 owners.

I did the tweeter upgrade in my 991.2, but this Bose version seems much better to me and don’t feel compelled to change them out. I love listening to music but not an audiophile.

Remember ...audiophile is not a real thing ( apart from in people who are believers ) However , your or anyone's subjective experience in listening is entirely valid .
Back on the subject . I have to say , I find the upper range in the Bose setup ...not great , and I'll be all over a modest route to an improvement .

I have the Musical tweeter upgrade. First installed in my 991.1 TT, then moved it to my 991.2 TTS and finally to my 991.2 GT3 Touring.

I find it is an excellent upgrade to stock Bose tweeters for sharper, crisper high end reproduction and if I end up moving to a 992 TTS, I am hoping to bring it along for the ride!

I sold mine to a 991 owner. I think the brackets are specifically made to fit in the 991. The dash is ay different in the 992. I am not sure if Musicar is making the tweeter upgrades at the moment - it seems that Nick is not responding to requests. I think his stellar reputation has made him quite busy.

Thanks Dan! If that's the case, and yes Nick has not responded to my email or FB pm, I'll do the same. Sell and make a 991 owner happy!

Another victim of success....

I tried the Bose and and the loudish levels I listen to the door was rattling and the bass is way to muffled so i had to go with burmister. The 120pc tax we pay it was a 15k option. That was a bitter pill to swallow but i listen to most of my music in my car stuck in traffic and the Bose was woefully inadequate. I looked around and there were no clear upgrade paths...

I spoke with Nick a few months ago and he said they were working on a 992 update. No word since then.
