Is it just me or should carpets ALWAYS be black no matter what color you get?

Agree, that could be. When I was looking to order mine in November of course none of the dealers had anything in stock to look at, So only could see colors on the configurator and it just looked like a lot of brown to me. The Chalk stitching definitely helps.

i have truffle club leather with deviated chalk stitching. I also have the Porsche shield on the headrest to break up the slabs of seat leather. It works beautifully with agate grey - it pulls out the brown in that colour. It works particularly well with the top down (I opted for a black top). I love my car’s interior.

I am not so convinced that truffle would tie in as well with gentian blue though. Someone that understands the colour wheel will know ‘if’ and ‘why’.

What does let the truffle club interior down though is the plastic dashtop vent and the plastic passenger cup holder. The additional dash leather trim was not available when I bought. I do not think the black interiors suffer from this ‘obviously plastic’ issue as much.

I contemplated orange or red deviated stitching with truffle and GB. But decided the classic look of chalk is great, and spend the money on other options. There are some examples from other models online.

How does the GB/truffle combination look? Seems to me that truffle is enough of a neutral that the combo should be fine.

I have seen Truffle Brown (with chalk stitching) with Dolomite, Aventurine Green, Chalk, and Night Blue in person and it looks amazing. It shows much darker on the configurator than in person. TB is really rich and elegant.

There is no substitute for seeing it in person (recognizing that is very difficult these days). The configurator can be misleading e.g., the burgundy in the black/burgundy interior shows very red on the configurator but in person is subtle and looks very nice.

Truffle Brown/chalk stitching with Aventurine Green is the way I went. Looked at in person and really liked it. Still have several weeks until it locks, but doubt I will change.

No regrets! I didn’t get to see it in person before I ordered but couldn’t be happier.

I will add black where I can. Start with the floor mats and go from there

I wish you could spec a black Alcantara headliner with the truffle brown.

it is an old thread, but that’s the only picture I found with “alcantara” wheel and truffle interior. Is black steering wheel clashing with all-brown interior? Is it possible to get more pictures of that combo? I would like to have alcantara steering wheel but I’m not sure how it would end with that brown…

^Agreed.
The shifter is close enough to match the steering wheel, but it looks off, IMHO.

I have truffle brown without contrast stitching. Personally I prefer it without the contrast stitching because the contrast stitching reminds me to home theater seats.
Like you i was on the fence about the truffle brown and really would have preferred espresso brown. Now, I really like the truffle brown and do not want espresso brown. I really like it and would consider it again if I were to change my 992.

2nd: The leather smell from the club leather is amazing. My brother has a 992 with chalk and its not the same.

3rd: I do not have racetex roof. I do wish I did get it. I have it in my Panamera and it adds to the luxury look and helps reduce cabin noise.

I do not know if I would to a racetex steering wheel. not my thing.

In the end, its all good. you will not regret whichever way you go.

Hope this helps.

Tnx. I had 992C2S with black interior (sport tex) and now I want more emotions inside, alcantara wheel is nice addition and so are the colors. Red is to red, the rest don’t go well with GT silver. So only truffle remains, but black wheel with all-brown dash might stand out too much. I’ll take racetex roof thou, but it is brown again…
