I went with the Carrera Classics too, but agonised over staying with the Carrera S in standard polished silver. Not sure why, but they can look cheap square on, any other angle and they look great. The Classics also reminded me of the 991 GT3 wheels, which are the best designed wheels ever!!

Ditto, GT Silver with Classics, which I've debated for nearly 2 years I even changed my mind this week with the wheel choice, removed the side skirts, and added '911' on the rear bumper. The mind works in mysterious ways Might buy used next time, then all those tough decisions are removed!! ha ha!

Hahaha. So true. I have submitted by build to the dealership in august and then played with changing anything from wheels to colors, to interior, to decals…just to end going back to the same configuration i originally designed. So I’m sticking with what i submitted. I went with classic design. Manual, rear wheels drive, gt silver and classic wheels.

If I ordered a GT Silver car, I would get Exclusives with it.
1. Forged, not cast.
2. Great look on silver cars.
3. Probably the easiest to clean of all wheels currently offered by Porsche on the 911.

We went back and forth between Exclusives and Turbo wheels on my current one, but the girls liked the Turbo wheels better. I could have gone either way, even knowing that cleaning the Turbo wheels would suck (it does).
I would have fought back for Exclusives on a GT Silver car.

Classic for me as well.

I think Classic or Exclusive Design w/ high gloss black look the best. I suggest looking at them in person if you can.

Locked my build two days ago. Another vote for Classics.

The post above is my new screensaver! 😄

I think the caliper color figures into the wheel choice, but never more than 3 exterior colors total. On Silver w/ Black Calipers and Exclusive Design Tailights = Exclusive Design wheels , Red Calipers w, red tailights = Silver Carrera S wheels. On other colors the equation changes.

Please ignore the fact that the center caps are not pointing correctly. Have not adjusted yet and dealer should be ashamed.
