reviving this thread because i just got my 991 and it has been driving me nuts, as the alarm has been triggering pretty much every time i lock the car. It's always the interior sensor (per the connect app). Trying to disable the interior monitoring didn't work either via remote or PCM unchecking of the box (the lights flashed appropriately, but the alarm still would go off). There is another recent thread about it here: https://rennlist.com/forums/992/1261...l#post17825050

Anyway, i came across this thread and post in my googling, and it hit me- i have an OBDII device for my car insurance plugged in. I put it in there from the moment i took delivery. I unplugged it after test driving last night, and the alarm didn't trigger. tried again this morning, no alarm. Could this actually be it???!??!?!?! The communication with the ODBII is triggering something in the alarm's functionality? Man... i'm going to keep testing it today to see if it will still work.
